We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming 6th ECVSMR Scientific Meeting, which will take place on the 23rd-25th October in Turin, Italy.

The Organizing Committee is excited to bring together sports medicine clinicians and researchers from around the globe to share their insights, experience and latest research results.

The programme will feature esteemed keynote speakers, interactive workshops, and panel discussions that will cover a wide range of topics in sports medicine and rehabilitation. The meeting will also provide great opportunities for networking and collaboration among participants.

We are now opening the call for abstracts, inviting all interested researchers and practitioners to submit their work for consideration.

Social Events
The ECVSMR 2025 Scientific Meeting will be complemented by two official social events, offering participants the opportunity to network in unique and prestigious venues in the city of Turin.

Welcome reception

Date: 23 October 2025

Venue: Ristorante Esperia Included in the registration fee (please confirm your presence during the registration process)

The Welcome Reception will take place at Ristorante Esperia, a historic residence located along the banks of the River Po. Designed in 1926 by architect Contardo Bonicelli and inaugurated in 1928, the building is characterized by a distinctive style that blends urban elegance with a countryside atmosphere.

The venue features a panoramic terrace overlooking the Murazzi, an elegant reception hall, a private lounge, and a lower level housing a historic boathouse and tennis courts. A notable feature of the main hall is a large whale skeleton by South American artist Juan Cespedes, symbolically recalling the relationship between the venue and the water element.

This evening will be the perfect occasion to welcome all delegates in a relaxed and pleasant setting.

Farewell Dinner

The Farewell Dinner will be held at Villa Sassi, a prestigious 18th-century residence located on the hills of Turin, offering a panoramic view of the city and the surrounding Alps.

Villa Sassi combines architectural heritage with refined hospitality, making it an ideal setting to conclude the congress in an elegant and convivial atmosphere. Participants will enjoy a dinner in a unique historical setting, with the opportunity to network and celebrate the closing of the event.

Attendance is subject to ticket purchase during the online registration process. Availability is limited.

A transfer from the city center to the venue is included in the ticket price.

  • We gently remind authors that when submitting your abstract, you agree that the abstract and the corresponding poster/presentation, which you are going to show during ECVSMR 2025, become subsequently available at the organizers’ discretion.
  • When submitting your abstract, you hereby agree that your abstract will be published in the Congress Abstract Book.
  • The online registration and payment settlement of the presenting author is required within July 31, otherwise the abstract will not be published in the abstract book even if accepted.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The organisers of the 6th ECVSMR Scientific Meeting invite the submission of abstracts for consideration for oral or poster presentations.

All Abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the ECVSMR 2025 Scientific Committee. Oral presentations can be submitted for the Resident Forum (ECVSMR residents only) or for the General Session (Free Communications). Authors will have to indicate in the system if the submission is for the Resident Forum SA/EQ, for the General Session SA/EQ or for a poster. The Scientific Committee will select oral and poster presentations among the submitted abstracts and notify the authors.

Oral presentations in the General Session will be 8 minutes plus 2 minutes for questions. Posters will be available for viewing throughout the duration of the meeting, and it is expected that author(s) will be present to answer specific questions during announced poster session time. At least one author must be registered for the conference and available to present at their assigned time.
